RALLY FOUNDATION SKILLS is offered in a brand-new format for teaching dog training classes— a modular format!

 

Modules (or lessons) are designed as independent lessons from each other.  There is no particular order to take

the lessons— each stands

alone and can be taken

Rally is the newest sport to hit the dog world! Rally has been described as "low impact dog agility". In Rally you and your dog walk, weave, and spiral through a course of exercises.

 

Some exercises resemble classic obedience drills and others resemble freestyle moves. The judge says, "Forward," and you and your dog are on your own; walking, weaving, and spiraling all the way to the end of the course. 

 

CLICKER ORIENTATION or prior experience

as a clicker trainer is a pre-requisite

for this course—Nov 8th 1:30 to 3 pm

RALLY! Nice Beginning for Dog Agility

     MIXED BREED or PUREBRED

 

Rally is an excellent way to start the ground work of steering and focus needed to succeed in dog agility. Novice Rally is done on leash and builds on the relationship

between your body

language and the dog's

actions. Your dog learns

to focus and "dance" with

you as you move gracefully

through a Rally course.

 

 

 

We would like to help you fit dog training into your busy life!  The modular format is a progressive, go-at-your-own-pace system designed to give you a very flexible and convenient approach to dog training classes.

 

Modules (or lessons) are offered three times per week on a rotation basis. Behaviors are grouped according to the skills addressed. Many behaviors occur in more than one module.  This allows you to learn new behaviors while achieving higher levels of skill with previously learned behaviors.

 

After an initial orientation class, you may choose any lesson and repeat that or try other lessons that better fit your schedule.  Lessons are scheduled in flexible, rotating fashion designed to be user friendly.
